Gosunkugi Hikaru is the creepy classmate of Ranma and stalker of Akane. He makes countless attempts to get Ranma out of his way using voodoo dolls, disguises, and traps…none of which have ever worked. (But he did manage to discover Ranma’s weakness—cats!)
He appears in volumes 4, 7, 17, and 21 of the manga (as far as I know)…and some of these roles were given to Sasuke Sarugakure (that stupid monkey-looking ninja guy that works for the Kunos XD), so he appeared much later in the anime as a "transfer student." In the season where the animation started to look really screwy!
By the way, "Kurasa Koso Inochi! Gosunkugi Hikaru" is a song from the Ranma 1/2 series…the title translates to "Darkness is just my life!" How apt...
